Thats deeply moving. I have to print that on a visiting card and on the other side of the card links to Apostate sites and give them to every JW I meet.

Jonestown Survivor Quote
by cappytan in"...when our own thoughts are forbidden, when our questions are not allowed and our doubts are punished; when contacts & friendships outside of the organisation are censored, we are being abused for an end that never justifies its means.
when our heart aches knowing we have made friendships and secret attachments that will be forever forbidden if we leave, we are in danger.
when we consider staying in a group because we cannot bear the loss, disappointment and sorrow our leaving will cause for ourselves and those we have come to love, we are in a cult.

The public prosecuter is interested in getting information on JWs.
by Driving Force inbackground information.
i myself am in full fade mode with an overly active jw wife, who refuses to discuss any point whatsoever.
a friend who is not a jw nor has ever been a jw; he studied for a few months, then realized what an evil cult it is and stopped.

Background information
I myself am in full fade mode with an overly active JW wife, who refuses to discuss any point whatsoever. A friend who is not a JW nor has ever been a JW; he studied for a few months, then realized what an evil cult it is and stopped. His wife is an overly zealous JW and his wife and my wife are in the same congregation.
We get together from time to time and discuss what has been happening with our cult wives. So his wife was given a part on the meeting about apostates, which is really an evil thing to do from the congregation because they know of the contact we have. This is part of their strategy to drive a wedge between him and his wife, this infuriated him and so he called one of the national newspapers (Bild Zeitung) and mentioned some of the evilness/hypocracy of the WTBS. Specifically he mentioned how the R&F are being coerced into donating funds and the WTBS are then investing in the stock market, in particular companies dealing in weapons. (There is a thread on this.) The newspaper wants more information.
He then called the public prosecutor and mentioned the same things, the public prosecutor is very interested in learning more. This occurred in Germany.
I shall keep you posted if anything comes of this, and I personally will be very active in providing information to the public prosecutor.

Mobile Hotspot - JWFACTS.COM - Assembly & Conventions
by thedepressedsoul inhere is an idea i tested.
works at both assemblies and conventions.
i have noticed at the last convention and at my last assembly that when i opened up my wifi setting, tons of hotspots came up for people tethering their tablets to their smart phones.

What I want to do is rip off the Borg web layout and rewrite the entire site including info from JW Facts and links to CoC and other apostate literature.
Copytrans, if you do that make it available to us all.

You have a $100,000,000 budget to do a global campaign against the WTBS worldwide. How would you spend it?
by JWchange inwhat if by inheritance, winning the lottery or any other way, you suddenly got your hands on $150m after tax.
you maybe would spend a third of this giving your extended family financial security for life.
you maybe would buy a boat and a few investment properties.

I would set up some kind of Trust Fund to assist ex JWs dealing with the affects the many years of psychological abuse or other needs. The fund would also assist (financially) anyone wanting to take legal action against the WTBS for whatever reason.
Then use social media to make known that this Trust Fund actually exists, this would keep costs down and allow the propagation of these ideas to be more targeted.

I love it when Brits swear.
Well I was in the Royal Air Force and based at RAF Brawdy (West Wales) in the 80s, there were also Americans on the base. In the bar on the base we had a swear bottle, so if you were to swear you would have to out something in the bottle. One evening there was an American servicewoman in the bar and asked what it was, so to was explained that if you swear you have to put something in the bottle. She thought it was such a great idea, she put some money in the bottle and started to swear.
Well, what she though was swearing, she never said a single worn that we (Brits) considered to be a swear word.
